Beginning with “Hot List”, one of the best features of Terapeak, and by far favored by its users. This area is found under the category named “Hot Research”. Here one is able to go as far as seeing what eBay shoppers are looking for and buying. The filters may be adjusted from the top toolbar. One may adjust the time frame of tracking. For example, if you would like to track hot items for one week instead of the default of thirty days, it is controlled here.

Users also have the ability to save a search. For example, if you are in the business of selling golf clubs of different brands, you may track this trend very easily and even have updates emailed to you. Under the Main Menu click on the “Search” category, type in golf clubs, and then search. From here there is a “save” option at the top of the page, click this. Next to the “save” is an email icon. If you click the email icon, you can have daily, weekly, or even monthly updates emailed to you. This will save a lot of unnecessary search time.

Another popular feature of the program for those who want to make money on eBay is the ability to search top sellers of your item industry. This opts for the opportunity to see what he/she is doing to be successful and even see other items that are being sold by the individual. Under the Main Menu click on “Search” and then the subcategory “Top Sellers”. At the top type in the name of the item being tracked. A list of the top sellers will appear, from here, you have the ability to filter the way you would like to view the list (highest revenue, success ratio, etc).

For the most part the program is controlled from the Main Menu and then filtered from the toolbar on the top. Its user-friendly interface only requires that the user learn these two areas.
